Life's An Adventure - Kelly Bates
Hello friends! My slight obsession with the Eucalyptus Dance paper collection from Paper Rose hasn’t died off yet and today I’m sharing another way to use up your patterned papers, so let’s get into it!
Paper Rose Products used: Bold Leaves 1 stamp, Bold Leaves 2 stamp, Eucalyptus Dance 6×6 paper collection, Big Black and White Sentiment Sheets, Smooth White Cardstock, Black Ink Cube, Liquid Glue
Other products used: foam tape, small sharp scissors, stamping platform (or acrylic blocks).
Technique: I placed my sheet of paper into my stamping platform and laid the first stamp onto one of the corners and stamped it down using the black ink. I then rotated my paper 90 degrees and stamped it again, then turned it again and stamped it for a third time. I then stamped my second image once in full towards the centre, and once using the top half of the stamp only in the remaining corner and set the sheet aside to dry completely. I then cut my sentiment using one of the smallest circle dies and foam mounted it to the middle left of my card base. Once the patterned paper panel was dry I’ve fussy cut each of the leave clusters out and arranged them onto my card base around the sentiment. Once positioned I foam mounted the tops of the leaves in place and glued the stems down. I filled in any gaps with my leftovers and cut off pieces.
