Zara Sympathy - Kelly Bates
Hello friends, goodness it’s July already! To be fair though it is my favourite month of the year and this one is looking to be no exception; school holidays fun with my Miss 9, markets and a paper craft show, and neatly wrapped up at the end of the month by my birthday 😀 Onto the card making though 😉 Today I’m sharing a simple yet elegant sympathy card using one of the gorgeous flower dies Paper Rose released a little while ago, along with vellum accents so lets get into it.
Paper Rose Products used: Zara Flower Metal Die, With Sympathy Fine Script Layered Die, Little Foliage Dies 1, Little Foliage Dies 2, Stitched Rectangle Nesting Dies, Daisy White Shimmer Cardstock, Smooth White Cardstock, Native Floral Paper Collection, Clear Crystals. Glue Pen
Other products used: die cutting machine, vellum
Technique: I folded my sheet of Smooth White cardstock in half and set aside. I then die cut the 2nd largest rectangle from my sheet of Native Floral paper, 3 of the flower sets and sentiments from the Daisy White shimmer cardstock, and the leaves and sentiment backgrounds from vellum. I then assembled and glued my flowers and sentiments together and set aside to dry. I glued my patterned paper to my card base, added the 3 white flowers to the bottom left, glued a clear crystal into the centre of each, added the vellum leaves and lastly added my sentiment.
