You Mean the World to Me - Kelly Bates

Happy February friends! Starting off the month with this cutie from an older but much loved stamp set from Paper Rose and sharing the way I create my shaker cards so let’s get into it!
Excitingly, this one is up as a video tutorial on the Paper Rose YouTube channel, so come over and check it out!

Other items: Foam Tape (doubled up), liquid glue, acetate, watercolour paper, watercolour paints
Technique: I stenciled the scattered hearts onto a panel of the smooth white cardstock in rainbow order going clockwise from top left and set aside to dry. I stamped and watercoloured my little monkey from the Monkey Love stamp set and after allowing time to dry I die cut her using the coordinating die. I cut a piece of the floral bliss paper using the largest rectangle die and the largest nesting label die then glued my piece of acetate behind the opening. I used my doubled up foam tape on the floral bliss panel to create a well to put in my shaker mix. I then placed the stenciled panel on top of the exposed foam tape to seal up my shaker element. I glued this to my card base, added my little monkey friend to the bottom right and added my sentiment strip across the top of the shaker window.
