Woodland Christmas Shaker Card - Patricia Chalas

✨ A little sparkle, a little movement, and a whole lot of Christmas charm! ✨ Guest Designer Patricia Chalas has created the sweetest Christmas shaker card featuring the Snowflake Circle Die and the beautiful Woodland Christmas Collection. From the delicate gold splatters to the adorable Christmas mouse, this card is packed with festive details worth taking a closer look at!
Patricia began with a white card base and layered green patterned paper with white polka dots onto the front, creating a classic Christmas backdrop with a soft, playful feel.

The star of the card is the shaker feature, created with the Snowflake Circle Die. Patricia die cut the snowflake circle twice from white cardstock, then used a large circle die to create the window through the center. Layering the die cuts added extra structure and dimension, while delicate gold splatters created with Distress Ink Spray gave the white snowflakes an elegant touch of shimmer.
And what’s a shaker card without a little sparkle? Patricia filled the window with a mix of gold and clear sequins, adding movement and festive shine every time the card is tilted.

She then brought the Woodland Christmas patterned paper into the spotlight with two charming fussy-cut details. The “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” greeting was placed at an angle inside the shaker window, while an adorable Christmas mouse, complete with a tiny red bow, sits sweetly at the bottom of the circle. It’s an unexpected little detail that adds plenty of personality to the design!
To finish the card, Patricia added red rhinestones to select details on the Snowflake Circle and scattered additional gold sequins across the front panel, creating a beautiful visual connection between the shaker window and the rest of the card. The finished design combines white, green, gold, and red for a look that is elegant, festive, and wonderfully whimsical. ❤️✨
