Thinking of You - Miriam Chessum

Hi friends, thank you so much for visiting my little card corner, I really appreciate you being here. Firstly I apologise for being a bit behind with posting my cards here, I have been in hospital for the best part of a week with some back problems – ouch!! But I am back now and I am back with a bright and cheerful design team post for Paper Rose Studio. We are going into the winter here in Melbourne, so this spring colours are just what we need………
For this card I created a card base using Fog cardstock which measures 4.25 x 5.5 inches. I then die cut a panel of white Neenah 80lb cardstock using the Pierced Rectangle Die.
I then moved onto the stamped image, today I am using the Hayley’s Bouquet which I have stamped with Memento Black Ink and coloured with Copic markers. Once the colouring was dry, I fussy cut the image and added white highlights. For today’ s card, I have used the following Copic marker colours.
Greens – YG07, YG05, YG03, YG01, G17, G14, YG67, YG63, YG61
Yellows – Y15, Y13, Y11
Oranges – YR09, YR07, YR04, YR02, YR00
Reds – R24, R22
I then ink blended a corner of the white panel with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide ink, making sure the ink faded out to white in the middle of the card base. I then added the panel to card base with foam tape and then added the floral image also with foam tape.
To finish the card I added a sentiment from the Black & White Sentiment Sheets and a few pale lemon gems.
That completes the card for today. I hope the bright, sunny colours inspire you to get crafty sometime soon.
Thanks again for visiting……..
