Thinking of You - Kelly Bates

Hello friends! If you haven’t seen already, Paper Rose released a range of slimline dies recently that will work here in Australia with our DL sized envelopes and today I’m sharing a card using two of the sets so let’s get into it!
Other products used: 10.5cm x 22cm panel of brown cardstock, 12 x 12” sheet white cardstock, die cutting machine, foam tape, liquid glue, small scissors for fussy cutting.
Technique: I created my card base cutting a 20cm x 21cm panel from the white cardstock and scored it in half along the 20cm side to give me a 10 x 21cm card base. I then die cut the brown cardstock with the largest stitched rectangle die and the remaining piece of white cardstock with the Slimline Card Creator 2 die. I then glued the brown cardstock to my card base and set aside to dry. I used the 4 square paneled paper in the collection to cut 3 6.5cm square pieces from and placed them on the card base, laying my white panel over top to make sure everything lined up before gluing them down. I then attached the white panel using foam tape for dimension. Next, I took the cut apart sheet and fussy cut all the blue, brown and some yellow elements and glued or foam mounted them to each of the openings. Lastly I tucked my sentiment in under my bird with foam tape.
