Thank You Being in My Life Card - Kelly Bates
Hello friends! Into August we go… what a ride 2020 has been so far. I hope you are all safe and well. Today I’m sharing a super pretty slimline card… I quite enjoyed the challenge coming up with a design for this size card, and I think I’ll be doing more in the future! Let’s get into it
Paper Rose Products used: Pomegranate Paper Collection, Big Black and White Sentiment Sheets, Stitched Rectangle die set
Other products used: Purple cardstock, Ribbon, Pearl embellishments, Nuvo White Blizzard Glitter Drops, liquid glue, foam tape.
Technique: Using the scripty words sheet from the paper collection I cut a piece measuring 8.3cm wide x 21cm (the height of the sheet). I then fussy cut one of the flowers cut apart sheets in the paper collection as well. I trimmed out my sentiment from the sentiment pack using partial die cutting to get to height I wanted. To assemble my card, I glued a piece of ribbon along the centre of my scripty words panel and then placed the sentiment over top using foam tape. I glued and foam taped my flowers into place. I then stuck this panel to my purple cardstock panel and finished it off using the Nuvo drops and pearl embellishments.
