Sketchy Flower Cards - Donna Lewis

Hello crafty friends. As I child, I heard this saying often, as I was most absolutely the runt of my school class. But it’s certainly true about this little stamp – Sketched Flower 3 from Paper Rose. I really enjoyed stretching it in four different ways.
As I made, I filmed, then I edited, edited, voiced, edited, (etc), and you can see the video here!
I used watercolours to spatter this copic coloured image in the card below. as well as inkblending around the outside of the panel.
Next I used patterned papers to layer up the flower decoupage style for a 3D image. I love how the watercolour look papers give some dimension to the flower. This photo doesn’t really do justice to the lovely background texture from the tulips 3D embossing folder.
For the next card, I repeat stamped and coloured in copic marker.
Finally I watercoloured everything except the image for this last card. I cut thin strips to make a frame behind the circle cut image, and added a Lincoln circle die behind for some extra texture.
There you have it! Four cards, five techniques, and one little stamp. I hope your day is amazing!
Blessings,
Donna
