Robot Friends Slimline Card - Kelly Bates
Hello friends!
I don’t know why I hadn’t grabbed these earlier but last month I purchased the Robot Friends stamp set and have gone a little crazy with it since. Today I’m sharing one of the cards I’ve created, and it’s a slimline, so let’s get into it!
Paper Rose Products used: Slimline Card Bases, Smooth White Cardstock, Robot Friends Stamp Set, Robot Friends Die Set, Distressed Mesh Stencil, Cement Ink, Black Ink, Liquid Glue, Blending Brush
Other products used: alcohol ink markers, foam tape, memo tape
Technique: I stamped my robots in Black ink, then set aside to dry. I laid out my slimline card base flat and used a long strip of memo tape to cover from the fold up. I then stenciled the Cement ink through my Distressed Mesh stencil using my blending brush, going heavier in some spots than others but fading out towards the centre. I set it aside to dry while I worked on colouring my robots… I hadn’t planned on making them in rainbow colours, but it happened! I cut them out with the coordinating dies and then lined them up raising every second one with foam tape and gluing the rest. I stamped my sentiment as well as the beep and bop in black onto the base once all my new friends were in place.
Okay that is seriously cute!!! Love the bright colours as well. How could this card not put a smile on your face?
