Rectangles Rays - Kelly Bates

Hello friends, welcome to my first post for Paper Rose this month. Today I’m sharing a way to use the recently released Rectangle Ray Coverplate die in a simple and clean sympathy so let’s get into it.

Other products used: Distress Oxides in Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade and Saltwater Taffy, Dark Grey pigment ink for sentiment, dark grey cardstock scrap.
Technique:
  • Ink blend panel on the diagonal with the three Distress Oxide colours, splatter a small amount of water on top and set aside to fully dry.
  • Cut Rectangle Ray Coverplate die from white cardstock, glue the white frame to a top folding card base. Set aside inner ray panels for another card.
  • Cut Little Foliage dies from grey cardstock.
  • Cut Rectangle Rays Coverplate Die from the ink blended panel. Glue border up onto white border and inlay the ray pieces using liquid glue. Glue Foliage pieces in the left hand corner.
  • Stamp sentiment.
