Hello crafty friends. I have a really fun set of cards to share with you today. I need to tell you the fun I am having before I start. I am sorting out my typing set up and we have found an old keyboard in the house that used to belong to my son. I’m trialling that as I type. turns out this keyboard has a party lights setting as it’s a gaming keyboard. Hubby came in to show me how to turn the lights off, but I’m not having a bar of that! I’m typing with a rainbow of flashing lights under my fingers!!!

Anyway, I do have a card (or 10) to share with you today. I enjoyed the cards I made with the Rainbow Twirl paper from Paper Rose so much that when they came out with another set, I went around again for some more fun! (make sure to check out the last photo to see how things are REALLY going!)

Once again I’ve used sketches from Sandy Allnock’s Operation Write Home sketches (numbers 61 to 70 this time) and once again, I have made a video of the process. I hope that you enjoy it!

The rainbow colours made choosing background papers very easy. There was not much in my stash that I couldn’t have used, but I chose bright clean colours for the layering papers.

This paper pack doesn’t have sentiments on any of the papers, so I reached for the Bright Days Ahead embossed sentiments and also the Rainbow Poppies Sentiments, which are probably my most used sentiment pack. You can see in the cards above that I also used the another couple of my favourite dies – the abstract trees – you can see a whole video devoted to this set here, and also the lovely curves of the Hand Lettered thanks.

The set of cards below has two of my favourite patterned papers – the ‘flames’ and the wood panelling chevrons. Also, one of the papers had a large wreath which turned out to be absolutely perfect for one of the card sketches that I had to work with this time around.

Finally, please have a laugh with me as you see the photo that I painstakingly set up, aligning all the cards perfectly. It was only when I went to edit the image that I noticed a glaring error. Can you spot it?
