Rainbow Butterfly Birthday - Kelly Bates

O. M. G. I can not tell you all how much I am LOVING the latest Paper Rose release, Rainbow Garden… I can not stop playing with it! My first card using this collection came together fairly quickly, although being one hand down made the fussy cutting part take a bit longer than usual 😉 Anyways! Let’s get into it!
I promise I’ll try not to gush over the collection in here…. but it’s going to be hard!
For this card I’ve cut down the gorgeous blue floral patterned paper from the 6×6 Rainbow Garden paper collection to 9.9cm x 14.2cm and glued it straight down onto a top folding A6 sized card base. I then fussy cut a large butterfly from the Rainbow Butterflies and Insects Cut Aparts pack, and foam mounted it to the open space. I used the Clear Crystal Mix to create a little trail under the butterfly and then foam mounted a gold foil sentiment from the Happy Birthday Sentiment Sheets pack. I gave the butterfly a good coat of Clear Wink of Stella to give her some sparkle and then I was done…. and I sat there admiring her 😀
You will be seeing so many more cards from this collection from me, probably forever, those colours just pop! I’ll see you again soon with another post for Paper Rose! – Kelly
