May Your Christmas Be Filled with Surprises - Kelly Bates

Hiya friends! Have you seen the adorable stamps (and coordinating dies) that Paper Rose have been releasing recently using images from RAM Stamps? I HAD to pick up these two stamps as I just loved them as soon as I saw them. Read on to see how I created this card and tag set.
Honestly, it’s the little Joey for me in the Kangaroo Christmas Surprise stamp set that made me want it as soon as I saw it! I stamped the image in Memento black ink onto Copic friendly blending cardstock and sat it aside to dry fully before colouring the image in alcohol ink markers. Once coloured I die cut it using my favourite rectangle dies. I used Sheet D from the Aussie Christmas 12 x 12 Paper Collection for the background layer and mounted it onto a card base.
I was having a play with the Australian Birds Clear stamp set as well on the same day I made the card, so the process is the same as above. Once my image was coloured I cut it down and backed it with the reverse side of the above mentioned Sheet D, which has a cute pastels plaid pattern. I finished the tag with a white panel on the back for my message and an iridescent tinsel twine.
Have a fantastic week friends! – Kelly.
