Love - Kelly Bates

Starting February off with some pretty pastels, and today I’m sharing a clean and simple card, with a bit of added bling.
Paper Rose Products used:
Other products used:
Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110lb card base, Neenah 80lb cardstock, Watercolour paper, Distress Inks in Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar, Squeezed Lemonade and Mowed Lawn, Nuvo Glitter Drops in White Blizzard, 3.7cm x 10.5cm strip of vellum, scrap white cardstock.
Technique:
I used a light wash of each of the Distress inks for my background using a medium water brush to soften the colour and set aside to dry. I then cut the letters L-O-V-E once from a sheet of paper from the Dream in Pastel paper pack and once from the scrap white cardstock and glued those together using liquid glue, then attached each of the letters to the vellum strip. I then cut the Charlotte die from the 80lb Neenah cardstock and glued that over the watercolour panel. I trimmed off the excess watercolour paper from around the panel, attached the vellum strip to the front of the card and added my finishing touches with the Nuvo glitter drops.
xx
Kelly
