Lots of Leaves Card - Miriam Chessum
Hello everyone, I delighted to be back with my second DT card for April, using the Lots of Leaves stamp & die set.
Technique:
1) cut & score pale grey card stock to create a card vase that measures 4.25 x 5.5 inches. Then cut 2 white panels using the pierced rectangle die.
2) stamp various images from the lots of leaves stamp set in 3 dye ink colours.
3) colour the images in corresponding colours with copic markers, adding shading with coloured pencils.
4) die cut the images using the coordinating dies. Then add white white gel pen to create additional highlights.
5) glue the large white panel to the base, then add the smaller panel to the middle using foam tape. Note not to get the foam tape too close to the edges.
6) using liquid glue tuck in the various images in and around the smaller panel, overlapping where needed.
7) cut the happy birthday sentiment die with white cardstock twice and glue together. Cut the background of the sentiment in grey cardstock. Adhere the two together and ur in the middle of the smaller panel. Add glass gems
