For this layout, I had to get creative! I was on the last vestiges of this Collection in my stash but still wanted to get a 12x12 layout on the books. Love this kit! I started by trimming the last large pieces of the patterns I had left into the block pattern background - focusing on piecing different sizes together to create a large square. I left evenly spaced gaps between each piece so the white background could show through making the dark, retro patterns pop. I added a few black splatters for my grunge touch.

From there, I fussy cut the embellishments and cut apart cards in the Collection to create a cascading ‘jumble’ around my photos. Featuring the largest photo on the centre and the small photos almost as if they too were embellishments. A few embellishments and the main photo are popped up on foam dots for dimension. A date stamp was the final touch.
