Hello friends, a new Paper Rose DT post for you today, using a mix of old and new goodies, so let’s get into it!

Paper Rose Products used: Mermaid Magic Stamp Set, Big Black and White Sentiment Sheets, Bubbles 6×6 stencil, Navy and Pool Paper Rose Inks

Other products used: White cardstock, Texture paste, Speckled Egg Embossing Glaze, Distress Inks, Glitter Paper, versafine onyx black ink, clear embossing powder.

Technique: I started this card by mixing the Pool ink into a small amount of texture paste and then added a touch of navy ink to darken it up. I used the paste through the bubbles stencil and set aside to dry while I washed off my stencil. I then added the Speckled Egg glaze across the texture paste and heat set, allowing the paste to bubble up and create dimension. Once dried completely I ink blended mermaid lagoon distress ink to the background and faded it out towards the top and wiped the ink off the embossed areas. I stamped my mermaid and friends in black ink and heat embossed in clear. I then used my distress inks to watercolour the images. I then assembled the card using foam tape to prop up all my elements.
