Inky Splash Layout - Brande Davison

Hello, hello! Have you had a chance to play with the new ‘Inky’ goodies yet? I have them all over my scrapbook desk right now and am in love!
For this layout, I stared with that fantastic background paper from the Inky Splash 12x12 Paper Collection. I prepped the three spots I knew I wanted clusters of photos and embellishments with a stamped word cloud. I used word stamps from the Lovely Florals Magnolia 4x6 Stamp Set and Sketchy Hibiscus 4x6 Stamp Set added to the page with my go-to Premium Dye Ink, Intense Black. A few black splatters over each word cloud finished off the background.
From there, I cut a bunch of the Inky Colour Cut Aparts and popped out a number of the Inky Colour Embossed Die Cuts for my embellishment clusters. I dropped my photo on the bottom left (adding a number of layers of the Inky Splash 12x12 Paper Collection peeking from behind). All the paper pieces I used behind the photo and the background were messily outlined in black journal pen to look like stitching. I tucked and layered all the die cuts and cut aparts to make the clusters, then finished the page off with a title from the Uplifting Type collection.
Thanks Brande
