HB2U - Jo Herbert
Hi all, I am super excited for my first ever blog post for Paper Roses Studio as a Design Team Member. For my card, I created it with a hidden birthday sentiment that blended in the main focal water coloured card front. One of my most favourite thing to do is watercolour in floral images. The technique I chose today is to stamp with Versine Clair Nocturn ink the Milly’s Bouquet stamp set and heat emboss with WOW! Embossing powder clear embossing powder. This traps the ink so I can watercolour the image with my Karin Brush markers.
Once I finished with the main watercolour card front I ran the HB2U die over the panel through the die cutting machine. I then adhere it to a black cardstock panel however I propped the HB2U with foam squares so you can see the sentiment but only slightly to create a hidden message on the card front.
