Happy Anniversary - Kelly Bates

Hiya friends, Happy Valentine’s (or Galentine’s!) Day! Today I’m sharing a sweet card I created using the Magnolia Bloom metal die along with the gorgeous Alabaster White Shimmer cardstock so let’s get started!
To create this card I die cut the Magnolia Bloom metal die from the Alabaster White Shimmer Cardstock as well as the largest Stitched Rectangle Nesting Die Set for my background. I die cut a piece of patterned paper from the Candy Basics 6×6 Paper Collection using the second largest stitched rectangle die, and foam mounted the patterned paper panel onto the Shimmer cardstock base.
I added a light covering of Saltwater Taffy Distress Ink to the flower parts of my Magnolia die cut and Brushed Corduroy for the branches, and set aside for it to dry. Once dried, I glued this to my patterned paper panel.
I fussy cut my sentiment from the Happy Birthday Foil Sentiment Sheets and foam mounted it towards the bottom left hand side. I then glued the panel to my Card Base.
Thanks for visiting and I’ll see you again soon! – Kelly 🙂
