Good Luck - Miriam Chessum

Hi friends, I hope you are well. I have been a bit slow in updating my blog – sometimes life can get so busy, right!!! Anyway I am back today with a design team card for Paper Rose Studio which is all about die cutting. Cards with all die cutting are a nice break away from colouring, shading, light sources all the things that come with colouring. So today, I hope you enjoy this card.

I started the card by creating a card base using Fog cardstock that measures 4.25 x 5.5 inches. I then die cut a panel of Neenah 80lb white cardstock using the Pierced Rectangle dies. I then moved on to cutting the Tropical Leaves die in three different shades of green cardstock.

Once I finished the leaves, I moved on to die cutting the Little Bird Builder 2 die which I die cut in pink, purples and black. I glued the bird together with liquid glue from Paper Rose Studio ( my all time favourite glue).

I adhered the leaves to the panel with liquid glue and the positioned the bird. I trimmed a sentiment from the All Occasions Sentiment Sheets and glued to the panel. I added the panel to the card base popping it up with foam tape and lastly added a few dark green gems.

That completes the card for today. A quick and easy card which is still very striking. I hope you are inspired to get die cutting some time soon.

Thanks again for visiting……..
