Fireworks Card - Donna Lewis
Hello crafty friends. My apologies for the long absence. I’m three weeks away from finishing the first year of my Master’s degree, and I’m barely coming up for air! But let me tell you – in 17 days, there will be fireworks! I do have a Design Team card that I’d love to share with you today, so I’m popping in quickly before I get back to my studies.
This card uses the lovely new Fireworks 3D embossing folder from Paper Rose Studio. I ran this through my die cutting machine with some deep blue shimmery cardstock, and then lightly ran over the top of the panel with a silver ink pad so that just the raised parts of the panel were inked. I cut a frame for my fireworks by taping two stitched rectangle frame dies together and running them through the cutting machine.
Finally, a picture where you can see the sentiment! It kept catching the light in all the other angles. It’s from a set of pre-printed sentiments called Merry Christmas Sentiment Sheets from Paper Rose again.
I hope that you are having a wonderful October, and that you’re not as snowed under as I am! The end is in sight – just three more assessments to go. I’ve got this!
Until next time.
Blessings,
Donna.
