Everlasting Daisy - Kelly Wood

Hiya friends! Post number three for Paper Rose and today I’m sharing a simple way to switch up using your stamps by stamping then colouring on patterned paper, so let’s get into it!

I took a piece of patterned paper from my Paper Rose stash and stamped it with the Everlasting Daisy stamp in Cement Ink and set aside to dry. Once dried I die cut it using my 2nd largest Stitched Rectangle Nesting Dies and then started adding a light layer of colour with my (daughters) Derwent pencils. I did little flicks of a light grey from the centre out on most petals to add a bit of extra detail. I then stamped the dots, my sentiment and sub-sentiment from the Daisy Border Stamp Set in Cement Ink directly onto the panel. I then glued it to a light yellow cardstock and glued that down onto my card base. I finished the card off by adding 3 clear crystals on top of a couple of the stamped dots.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this post and I look forward to seeing you again tomorrow with my next post for Paper Rose! – Kelly 🙂
