Distress Crackle Card - Mandy Herring

Hi There
Thanks for stopping by. I have a new DT card to share today for Paper Rose Studio.
During lockdown I, like everyone else!, turned to YouTube and Facebook for ideas and entertainment.
I rediscovered my love of the Ranger product line by watching the Tim Holtz live videos.
My Card today revisits the grungy and vintage look achieved by using Distress products.
I created the background by using Distress crackle texture paste through my Damask stencil.
I have immediately added Distress Glaze embossing powder to the wet texture paste and set aside to dry completely.
Once dry I have heat embossed the powder, this creates a glossy crusted effect that is crackled.
It looks like its ceramic on top of the paper.
Thanks Tim it's a wonderful effect!
I have distressed this background with Vintage photo Distress ink.
My flowers are from the Lovely Florals Blossoms stamp set and are coloured with copic markers.
They are layered on several layers from the Nesting Labels 1 die set.
Once assembled I have again added colour to age everything with Vintage Photo Distress ink
giving everything an old look.
