Daisy Border - Kelly Bates

Hello friends!
Into March already  Off we go with one of the gorgeous new lines from Paper Rose, the newly released Daisy Border stamp set!
Paper Rose Products used: Daisy Border Stamp Set
Other products used: Strathmore Bristol Smooth Cardstock, Pink cardstock, Versafine Onyx Black Ink, Simon Hurley Inks in Piggyback, Sike!, Overzealous and Later Gator, Nuvo fine tip Waterbrush, Gelly Roll White Pen 08, Shimmer Pen, Pink Pearl embellishments.
Technique:
I stamped my daisy image onto the Bristol smooth panel and allowed to dry completely overnight., Using a base coat of Sike! I then highlighted each leaf using Overzealous and/or Later Gator.
I did a base coat of Piggyback for the petals, allowed to dry then come back in and added extra colour where I thought the petals needed it. Once that dried, I added white lines with my gelly roll pen.
I used Sike! on its own for the flower centres. After the panel dried, I stamped the with sympathy sentiment from the stamp set onto the card, added a couple of pearl embellishments and attached it to a slightly larger pink cardstock panel.
Side note: Go check out the Daisy range, it’s a cracker of a release!
xx Kelly
