Cozy Christmas U-Fold Card – Kelly Bates

Hello friends, Happy October! Today I’m sharing a fun ‘fancy fold’ card that will wow your family and friends this holiday season (or any time really :D). Best of all it folds flat for mailing too! Without further ado, let’s get into it.
Other products used: White cardstock, Scoreboard, Paper trimmer, small scissors, liquid glue, black gemstones.
Technique: I created my card base using a piece of white cardstock measuring 4.25” x  8” and scored it at 1.25”, 2.5”, 5.5” and 6.75”. I mountain folded the two outer score lines and valley folded the inner 2 score lines to create my “u” shape. I then cut 4 strips of patterned paper measuring 1” x 4” and 1 rectangle measuring 2.75” x 4” and glued those in place. For the bridge piece I cut a piece of white cardstock measuring 5.5” x 1” and a patterned piece measuring 5.25” x .75”, glued those together then glued it to my card front (outer flaps only). I then decorated the card using fussy cut pieces from the paper collection and finished by gluing several crystals across both sides.
