The background is the yellow burst patterns from the collection. I used a black journalling pen and a ruler to trace a line between each burst at random lengths to really emphasis the burst. I also added some black stars with a stencil and paper glaze from my stash and some black splatters. From there, I fussy cut a bunch of stars from the coordinating paper in the collection using my ruler and journalling pen to outline them in black. Then it was all about making a star explosion on the page, dropping my photos in the mix, adding some enamel dots for even more texture and a few phrase stickers.
