Cards with "Floating Elements" - Sasha Reade

💡✨For today’s project, our DT member @creating_with_sasha_reade shares a simple yet striking “floating elements” technique for her cards. Sasha began by applying double-sided adhesive to solid cardstock, cutting it into slim strips, and adhering them to acetate to create colorful, see-through background panels. These were then attached to each card front with thin strips of adhesive foam.
Sasha added another clever touch by die cutting both black cardstock and EVA foam with our Greenery die, then layering them on either side of the acetate. This creates the illusion that the die cuts are floating on the card front — a fun, eye-catching effect that’s sure to impress! 😍❤️
