Card Sketch Bingo - Donna Lewis
Hello crafty friends. I’ve been playing a game with my cardmaking this week! I love creating cards using patterned paper and card sketches but I always seem to spend an inordinate amount of time choosing sketches. I overthink the whole process way too much, and spend too much time fiddling, rather than getting on with the fun of making cards! So, my solution was basically to spin the wheel to find out which sketch to use!
I used the Butterfly Garden paper pack, along with the matching Butterfly Garden Cut Outs. It turns out that all sketches are suitable, and that I’ve been making things much too hard for myself. I’ve made a video of the process (game). It’s a little longer than my usual videos, but there are 11 cards in total, so I’ve worked hard to get it down to about a minute and a half per card! Even if you don’t want to see all the cards made, you can watch the first few minutes to see how I set up the Bingo game.
I used sketches by Mojo Monday, although there are lots of different sketches that I could have chosen. I’ve included some pictures below of the finished cards.
I hope that you might be tempted to play along, and try some card sketch bingo for yourself! Any patterned paper will work, but I do love how these butterflies have turned out.
Until next time, I hope your days are fabulous.
Blessings
Donna
Hello Donna,
You have done a wonderful job of these cards and the sketches are excellent.
I adore them all. I purchased the Floral Bliss 6×6 pack a while back. I now have a starting point. Big thank you for your inspiration.
Regards, Susan.
