Candy Kisses/Candy Treats Card - Misty Foresman
🥰❤️ This project is a wonderful example of combining multiple crafting techniques for Valentine cardmaking. Design Team member @mommyofkidz began by selecting patterned papers and embossed die cuts from the Candy Kisses and Candy Treats collections. Misty then created a stenciled wood-cut panel, embellishing it with fussy-cut florals. Heart ephemera from the Candy Treats embossed die cuts, along with a light sprinkling of shaker mix, were added for extra sparkle.
To build texture, Misty used the Wood Panels embossing folder on the 6x6 card base and mounted it onto a solid red background before assembling the card. The playful “Wood You Be Mine?” sentiment was cut from red cardstock using her electronic cutting machine and added to the front panel. A touch of Liquid Sparkle on the florals provided the perfect finishing detail! ✨💝
