Brooke's Bouquet - Miriam Chessum

Hi friends, welcome to my card corner and thank you for being here. Today I have a design team post for Paper Rose Studio. I have made a quick, clean and simple floral card, perfect for any occasion.
I started off by creating a card base that measures 4.25 x 5.5 inches using 110lb Neenah cardstock. I then trimmed an additional panel of Neenah 80lb cardstock to measure slightly smaller. On this panel I ink blended some Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide ink, focusing on just one corner. I wanted the colour to be deeper in the corner and fading out to white.
I then moved onto the floral image. For this I have used the Brooke’s Bouquet. I stamped the image using Versafine Onyx Black ink and coloured with Copic markers. Once coloured I fussy cut and then added white gel pen highlights. For this image I have used the following Copic markers:
Main flower – R39, R85, R83, R81
Other flowers – BV13, BV02, BV00, V15, V12, R14, R12
Leaves – YG05, YG03, YG01, G28, G24, G21
I adhered the floral image to the panel with liquid glue and then added this to the card base. I trimmed a sentiment from the All Occasions Sentiments and added to the card with foam tape. Lastly I added a few clear gems.
That completes the card for today – how quick was that! If youre looking for a quick and easy card, give this one a try.
