Hello crafty friends, I hope you have all had a lovely weekend and were able to find a little bit of time to be crafty!! I'm here today with my first card for May for the Paper Rose Design Team using the gorgeous Hayley's Bouquet stamp.

Technique:
1) cut & score a card base to measure 4.25 x 5.5 inches. Cut another panel to measure 4 x 5.25 inches, colour the edges of the smaller panel with copic markers. Glue the card base and smaller panel together.
2) Stamp the image using black ink onto watercolour cardstock and colour with watercolour pens. Once image has dried use a very diluted blue watercolour to create a shadow around the image. When everything is completely dry, dilute some gouache with a small amount of water and splatter over the image.
3) Trim the panel to 3.75 x 5 inches and adhere to the card base using foam tape.
4) Trim sentiment and adhere with foam tape.
