Bamboo Stenciled Cards - Michelle Smith
Our DT member @clothpaperarts_ has combined stenciling and die cutting techniques to create this pair of beautiful cards! Michelle selected the Bamboo stencil to create the card backgrounds, showcasing two creative inking techniques.
For the Wasp design, ink was blended directly through the stencil. For the Beetle design, the same ink was applied to the stencil, spritzed with water, and pressed onto white cardstock for a soft, watercolor effect. Once dry, additional ink was lightly blended over the panel. Each background was then die cut with the Stitched Rectangle dies, with sentiments cut from shimmering Seafoam cardstock. Embossed die cut insects and sparkling Clear Crystals provide the perfect finishing touches!
