All the Colours.. - Donna Lewis

Good morning crafty friends. I hope this post finds you well in body and spirit. I’m trying to take the opportunity while I’m at home to catch up on some things that have been on the to do list for too long.
I’m very excited today to share with you a card that I’ve made with the new Paper Rose ink collection. There is a full rainbow here in colours that are vibrant, but still soft when ink blended.
To celebrate getting my hands on these inks, I’ve made a card that uses every single one of them, except the black, which you’ll see soon enough!
I used the Stacked Squares Metal Die, and cut this three times from white card. I kept the smaller pieces from one of the cuts. I then ink blended each of the colours onto one of the squares, repeating my favourite colour, which was the light pink called Bubblegum.
The sentiment comes from another Paper Rose Stamp set called Into the Woods. I heat embossed the sentiment in white onto grey cardstock. I’m using more and more grey in place of black lately, and loving the slightly softer look it gives.
To assemble the card, I glued the three outline images together, then stuck these to a piece of cardstock that I cut with the second largest of the USA stitched rectangles dies. I then put some glue into all the gaps, and inserted all the pieces before attaching the panel to a card base.
I hope this has brought a bit of sunshine, and I look forward to sharing with you again soon. If you are interested in seeing more of my cards, I post the all here. Life is starting to sit into a rhythm now that is working for our little family.
Until next time,
May you know joy in your days,
Blessings,
